French Toast

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp.
Karo Syrup
1 cup
Brown Sugar
1/2 lb.
Butter
1 pkg.
Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Swirl Bread
6
Eggs
1 2/3 cup
Milk
1/4 tsp.
Salt
1 tsp.
Vanilla
1 tsp.
Cinnamon
Pinch of
Nutmeg
Directions:
Melt
together Karo Syrup, Brown Sugar, and Butter.
Put 1/2 of
the syrup mitrue into a 9"x13" pan.
Stack
slices of bread 2 to 3 slices deep.
Beat
together Eggs, Milk, Salt, Vanilla, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg.
Pour egg
mixture over the bread.
Pour the
remainder of the syrup mixture over the bread.
Cover with
foil and bake covered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Remove the
foil and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 more
minutes.
It will
look wet but it will be done.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
